When Does Head Tilt Indicate Health Problems?

A dog tilting it’s head may not be a response to sound or light. instead it can be a sign of serious health problems. Pathological head tilt is persistent with other symptoms, while normal head tilt is intermittent.

Abnormal tilt of the head is usually caused by some stimulus interfering with vestibular function. The vestibular system in the middle and inner ear is responsible for balance and coordination.
