The morning of February 7, 2022. I met this kitty on the way back from my morning run. She was curled up in the middle of the road, making faint noises and looking very weak.
She was too light when I slowly picked her up and found that she was not as heavy as a cell phone. I don’t know how she crawled to the middle of the road, she is now too hungry to stand up. If I don’t save her maybe she won’t survive the day.
Today is February 7th, so we named her SEVEN, which means good luck. Seven’s eyes were so infected that one eye was completely covered with dried pus and the other could only be opened a little. Her cries were getting smaller and smaller, so I decided to take her home right away.
I bought saline and erythromycin ointment at the pharmacy in front of the neighborhood and went home first wrapped in a towel, leaking only a small head. Then use a cotton swab with saline to slowly soften and clean up the dirt around Seven’s eyes.
When the stain around the right eye slowly softened, a lot of thick pus was left out with a light touch of a cotton swab. At that time, I thought, βThis is bad, her eye may be blind. On second thought, I’d feed her even if she went blind.β When the pus around the eyes gradually squeezed out, I was delighted to find her eyes intact, so beautiful eyes.
Then I used a cotton swab to gently apply erythromycin ointment around the eye, and for three days straight, Seven’s eye was full of goodness! It was amazing, I finally got her over.
The day I returned because there was no cat food, I could only use the dog food at home with warm boiling water to soften it for her to eat. Because of the hunger for too long, afraid that her stomach can not stand, each time only give her a little bit to eat, a few times a day. I made a temporary cat house for her, it was warm and she slept after eating, she was too sleepy.
In this way, she slowly regained her strength and became lively. Half a month later she has completely changed her appearance, she is too cute, a three-color mixed cat, so beautiful princess! πΊπππ
